Bear Lake 2009

Introducing our 2009 Bear Lake Stratford TRIP! And what is Bear Lake with out a little boating and...
Tube Wars... The view 90% of the time!
I guess Dan ate too many cookies and sank his tube! Ha Ha

It may start out nice and easy...

But it won't stay that way long. (Sorry Ty for all the hard kicks to the chest, us girls did NOT want to go in the water!) Anything goes in tube wars... right?!

Below is Dee on top, Ty, Dad, and Shane
Notice how Dee knows when to get out of the way~ She was the only one to stay on the tube while all the boys went flying in the water. Dee tried to do a victory arm flexing and fell in all by herself.
So her victory flexing is in the water! :)

Madi, Tracen, and Tyler on the tube with big smiles!
Tyler wasn't so sure about it this time and cried the entire ride.

Our little light weight Kenz was flying all over the place on that tube, but she still held strong! Kenz even tried Wake boarding! Go Kenzie!

One of Dee's happier moments! :)

This trip was Tate's element! He loved the sand, he loved the boat, and he loved the water! What else could you ask for! He played so hard he finally crashed!

Dee and May's tube wars! I think I actually bounced off of Dee's tube and fell right into the water! Ha Ha!

After we both through each other off a few times, we made up and were friends again.

Kev just wants to ride anything with a motor!

Mom on the boat!

Our TASTY lunch Mom brought. Thanks MOM! You always have great food for us!

Poor Slater and Mav were both sick, so they left early with Britt. You men better watch out next year... Britt let you off easy this time!

Mav wasn't so sure about the boat thing.

That's more like it! That's the Mav we know and love!
The amazing Shane pulling some awesome jumps on the wake board!

We are grateful you are back to yourself again Shaner! We love you!
Thanks Mom and Dad for another amazing trip! We all had so much fun camping, boating, 4 wheeling, and of coarse EATING! We can't wait for what next year brings! We love you!
To see more pictures, I will download them onto my Face book so you can get which ever picture you want. Also, I'd love to see any other picture others might have.

We realy know how to make a mess or at least clean up from one.

Yard Care Pros????

Mom and I took on the challenge of getting the Bloomington house yard cleaned up.

From 8 am to 9 pm, in 100 deg heat for two days we pulled weeds, trees, and plants.

We filled a 20x6' trailer with all the STUFF from the yard. We could not get enough water in, our cloths were soaked and boy did we stink. At the end of the day, around 10 pm, we went to dinner without getting cleaned up. Amazing out fast you can clear out a resturant....

BeforeAfter:

We will now put decorative rock in the berms.

Big THANKS to Tami and Kalio for helping us and getting the trailer.

Madi and Kevin loved seeing the cute baby! Thanks for letting us come visit you guys.

Look at those spider toes, they are so long and skinny.Sarah and Evalyn (spelling?) are doing good. Evalyn had the cord wrapped around her neck, so they were very blessed to have the option of a C-section. Plus, now she has a perfect little head! Congrats Sarah and Matt!

#2 The commitment choice.. Be passionate enough to succeed

#2 The commitment choice….. Be passionate enough to succeed.

Commitment requires passion
Commitment isn’t as simple as being able to check off what we’ve accomplished toward our goal. It’s a choice, an attitude. It believes that what we are doing is important enough to stay the course.

Why commitment fades
Isn’t it interesting how our commitment tends to fade over time? We have great intention, but something takes precedence over our time and commitment, and we lose our focus. Chances are, we were more interested than committed to reaching those goals. We weren’t passionate enough to follow through to the end of the journey.

Commitment begins with WRITTEN GOALS.
Most people do not write down their goals. They are interested in accomplishing them but not committed to state them clearly. If you want to reach your goal, you have to mentally see the goal and then physically write the goal.

Degrees of commitment
Surrounding yourself with others who choose commitment and passion, you’ll find yourself making more progress. Why? Because we tend to feed off those with similar goals and commitment levels.

How powerful are you?
Do you find yourself on the brink of a commitment, and you just can’t take the leap?
The reality is this: most people don’t have a clue about how powerful they really are. They’ll never find out until they choose to move beyond being interested and make a commitment to give what they consider the impossible a shot.

What is passionate commitment?
Attributes of people who have passionate commitment:
They do what they say they’ll do because they have made the commitment to do it. You can count on them every time.
They believe so strongly they can achieve a goal that they can envision themselves crossing the finish line. They can vividly see success.
They write and verbalize their commitments.
They’re realistic. They don’t over-promise and under-deliver.
They invest in achieving their goals. Education, practice. When they commit, they invest.
They plan their lives around their goal.
They don’t understand the term “fail” they think it means “one step closer to success”

Do you posses any of these attributes? Of course you do.

The difference between those who achieve their goals and those who set them aside is the choice of commitment; being passionate enough to succeed.

Three things you can do to make the COMMITMENT CHOICE:
1. Stay the course. If your goal is worth committing to, it is worth the price that comes with passionate commitment.
2. Surround yourself with people who are equally committed and passionate.
3. Clarify your commitment. Put your goals into works, and then begin making your commitments a reality.

Always be able-to-answer in fewer than twenty words what you want to accomplish in the next two years.
