Cabin Snomobile Trip!!!
All right Stratfords! This weekend is IT! It is finally here! I know you are all just as excited as we are so here is the scoop:
The Jacobs' crew and the Wangsgard's crew are heading up Friday after work sometime to spend the night. Mom and Dad are planning to go up on Saturday morning (early- I think)so they can pick up the snomobiles in Kamas on the way. So Bri, Britt, Shane and Kenz whichever you're planning let it be known so you can caravan if you'd like. Dan sent an e-mail to y'all with the directions to get there. Any questions, just ask.
The cabin is a very small BUT very quaint place. It is fully equip with kitchen, bathrooms, running water, comfy couches, beds, fireplace and LOTS of SNOW! There are 2 snomobiles up there that the Kemps are so graciously letting us use (PLEASE BE NICE TO THEM) and mom and dad are renting 2 others (better be nice to them too).
Saturday's "plan":
SNOMOBILE, play in the snow, snomobile, snow, snow, snow, ski (or board- I guess) behind snomobiles, sled, play in the snow, drink hot chocolate (with marshmellow of course), play in the snow, EAT yummy lunch that mom and dad are providing (THANK YOU), snowmobile, snow, snow, snow, talk, talk, talk.... I think you get the idea.
Should be FUN! Thanks for playing family! Thanks mom and dad for this awesome gift!
***Psst... don't forget your cameras!***

Ok... call me FICKLE...
... I yet again changed the blog background. (obviously) I like to change things around a bit. I think I get that from mom. I liked the old one, but it just seemed somewhat dark and a little "frilly" maybe? So I picked this one thinking that it seemed a bit brighter and little more neutral for the whole family. Again, please tell me if this one works for you and I will leave it alone for a while. :)

I stood watching from a short distance as he approached her casket. With eyes brimming with tears he looked down on her lovingly. He grasped her hands in his and sighed. Though they were now cold and wooden he bent his head down and kissed those hands tenderly. As he rose from the kiss, a lifetime worth of emotion and memories seemed to wash over him like a tsunami and for a moment, swallowed his countenance in grief. He looked up to her reposed face, beautifully framed by her pure white hair. There was such a look of calm there. She was at peace. The faint smile on his lips showed me that he knew it and I could tell that made him feel happy in spite of his sorrow. With the backs of his fingers he softly stroked her cheek and with a whisper that was barely audible said, “I love you, Mom.” Two large tears fell from his cheeks. They seemed to suspend in the air for a moment, catching the light that made them sparkle like diamonds in their descent. Warm tears of love splashed on her cold still hands - the contrast was sadly beautiful.
Such a simple event, such simple words, such a short instance, yet seldom in my life has the Spirit touched me with such power.
In a world where we so often focus on the finite boundaries that define our existence, it was a refreshing blessing to witness and feel of the infinite love shared between a son and his mother. In the split instant it took for me to witness those two tears fall, I had reaffirmed to me that love is the crucial element to our existence. Love secured a path for us all to follow. Love redeemed us from failure and sorrow. And love has made it possible for a son to someday, once again, shed his warm tears onto his mother’s warm hands.

Okay I'll Play...
This one explains itself! Apparently Madi was finished with her food so she put it on her head. She didn't see any thing wrong with this. In fact she thought it was really funny! Good old Madi! Good thing we LOVE her!

Give Mom a blank check and look OUT....
Mom has redecorated the washroom; new towels, tile, and mirror. It looks great! We also tiled the master bathroom and put a new bed spread on the King bed.
New curtin rod/curtin and towel rod with new new towels. I think all of you will enjoy the new look.

Kenzie and Shane's TAG PICTURE!
Here's my 4th picture out of my 4th folder!! I'm sure Mat is pretty excited about this...This is a picture of my cute sister Brooke when she was about 5 months along with Easton, and her husband Mat. We had all gone out to dinner at Maddox and afterward we were commenting on how tiny Brooke is when she's pregnant...Mat was simply proving how she doesn't look that different from the rest of us! Thanks Mat for always giving us a good laugh...

4th folder, 4th picture...
"TAGGED"
So I was "TAGGED" by a friend of mine and thought I would "TAG" the fam and see what we came up with. All you have to do is go to your 4th folder, find the 4th picture in it and post it on the blog.
We have two different places I could look so I posted one of them on my blog and here is the other one I found. Actually the 4th item is a video clip, but it is too long to post. Too bad, it was a real funny one.
Now I TAG everyone in this family! READY..... GO!

Gr Grandpa Stratford
Gr Grandpa Stratford is out of the hospial and is back at Peach Tree. He has lost the hearing in his left ear. His balance is still weak.
He is happy to be back home; home is where the big screen TV and lift chairs are.
