Thanks for a Great B day
Thank you for the GREAT BDAY for Grandma Stratford. She love the party [and the dots-- they were great, she ate them all]. Anytime she can be surrounded by her kids, grand kids , she is happy. Thanks again.

Grandpa Stratfords turn in the hospital
Grandpa Stratford is at the Ogden Reg Med Ct. We think he has sometype of an inner ear infection that caused the violent vometing and nausia. He has lost the hearing in his left ear and has trouble standing. We are hoping that the medications he is on will help the ear problems.
He has also had several mini strokes which caused him to black out. No damage, but always a concern.
Not sure how long he will be in the hospital, he is in room 308. If you can visit I know it will be appreciated.
Thank you for the nice birthday party for MOM. She appreciated it.

Kev B-Day
So I'm trying to decide which day to have Kevin's Birthday party. His birthday is Tuesday, Feb. 17th. Let me know if Tuesday works for you guys or if another day would be better. I know Shane has school. Also, it's not a big deal if you can't make it... but we would love to see you ALL!
Let Me Know ASAP so I can make invitations. Thanks!

Grandpa Waite stable
Well thank you for planning the b day for little Grandma Stratford, she deserves it.
As You may have heard that Grandpa Waite is at the McKay -Dee Hospital. Tuesday afternoon he suffered a bowel obstruction and was taken by ambulance to the ER. He was in a great deal of pain and finally consented to go to the hospital. They are still doing test and we hope to know something on Thursday. It is possible that he will have surgery to reduce the obstruction. Please pray for him.
Mom and I have been working at the cabin again. We got some new bar stools [see pic] The master bathroom and the wash room have been tiled and redecorated. You know Grandma... she did a wonderful job of making the washroom fun. She found a cute Moose head and matching towels, it looks great. On our way out of the cabin, she fell on the ice. I think she cracked her little bottom, butt I have not looked yet.
Look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

WE'RE IN AND READY TO ROLL...
SO we are finally in and ready to party! We got our Internet up and running, and we are excited to get to contribute to our family blog. Okay lets be honest... I'm really the one who is excited. Don't expect Ty to be posting any blog pages, but you never know! :)
Here is our newest SKIER to the Stratford family.... MADI! She is so excited that "she skied, and fell, and it didn't even hurt to fall in the snow, cuz snow in my face is cold, but it really doesn't hurt...." She can talk for hours about how "she can ski down the hill, but she really needs to practice so she can get as good as Grandpa!"
Notice the nice SNOT running down her face! Nice huh! So the real story is that she skied down the hill in our back yard a few times and now she is professional! Tyler worked with her while I stayed inside with Kevin (We both had colds).

Here is our other little climber! He loves to climb the stairs because then he can throw everything down the stairs... a.k.a all of Madi's dolls. Boys will be boys! It's actually really funny to watch because Madi carefully lays her dolls down for their naps with blankets and all. Then Kev sneaks over, stills them and watches them as they fly down each step... then laughs. What a sweet little boy! :)
We miss everyone and are excited for Mom's birthday party. Love ya!

Chubby, but not as chubby as big brother was!
Surprise! Suprise!
Slater is actually totally average for his age.
Who would have thought?
We went to Slater's 2 month appointment today and he is in the 30th percentile for height and 60th percentile for weight. He weighed in at 12 lbs 5 oz. and is 22 inches long. At Mav's 2 month visit he had exceeded 14 lbs. and as I recall, was off the charts in both weight and length for his age. So, much to our amazement (and I am sure yours as well) those chubby cheeks of Slater's must be squishier than Mav's were. (meaning he is not as solid.) Only time will tell if Slater will always be the "little" brother.

What a great family
Mom and I are the luckiest parents and grandparents in the world. We feel very fortunate to have such great kids and grand kids. Thank you for wanting to be with us. We have always tried to structure our lives around our family. I think it has paid off in many ways.
Lets keep working together, sharing and loving each others.
Love,
Mom and Dad

(Christmas Day 2008)
We are in!
We love our Grandpa Keith! This shot was taken at May and Ty's on New Year's Eve and it just makes me smile when I look at it. Good times in the Stratford Clan!
I hope everyone will contribute to this blog. I think it is a great idea! Thanks for putting it together Dee.
Happy New Year All! 2009 will be a great one.
Let's Get Started!
This blog has been created as a place where our family can keep a record of all the amazing and fun times we have together. This can also be a place for each of us to be able to share thoughts, feelings, compliments, ideas, announcements etc...
So Stratfords... jump on and have fun!
